When does the practice open?
Kliniek voor Tandheelkunde Wassenaar opens in September 2026, after the school holidays. Registration is open. After you register, we will call you to schedule your first appointment.
How does dental insurance work in the Netherlands?
For adults, dental care is largely covered by supplementary ("aanvullende") insurance rather than the basic package. For children under 18, regular dental care is covered by basic health insurance at no extra cost. All Dutch dentists work with the same official tariffs, set annually by the Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa), so prices are the same everywhere.
Do you treat clients in English?
Yes. Treatment and explanations are available in English and Dutch. Expat families from Wassenaar, The Hague (Benoordenhout, Clingendael, Marlot), Voorschoten and the surrounding area are warmly welcome.
Do I need to register with one dental practice?
In the Netherlands you usually register with one dental practice that becomes your regular dentist. Simply register via the registration form; we will call you to schedule your first appointment. There is no waiting list to join.

Our practice is located at Van der Oudermeulenlaan 1, 2243 CR Wassenaar (Villa Sonnenburgh), easily accessible from The Hague (Benoordenhout, Clingendael, Marlot) and Voorschoten, with ample free on-site parking.
Can I register my whole family?
Yes. Children are welcome from their very first tooth. Mention in the comment field that you would like to register a family.
