When does the dental practice in Wassenaar open?
Kliniek voor Tandheelkunde Wassenaar opens after the summer holidays of 2026. Registration is open. When you register, we will plan your first appointment together.
Where is the practice located?
The practice is located at Van der Oudermeulenlaan 1 in Wassenaar (Villa Sonnenburgh) and is easy to reach for patients from Wassenaar, Voorschoten, The Hague, Benoordenhout, Clingendael and Marlot. There is ample free parking on site.
How do I register as a new patient?
Register using the form. We will call you to confirm your registration and schedule your first consultation.
Which treatments does the practice offer?
Comprehensive dental care under one roof: first consultation and intake, periodic check-up, dental hygiene and prevention, emergency care, fillings, root canal treatment, implants, crowns and bridges, reconstructive dentistry, aesthetic dentistry, gum treatment and treatment of tooth wear. Children, families and anxious patients are also welcome.
Are the treatments reimbursed by health insurance?
Dental care for adults is largely covered by supplementary insurance; for children up to 18 years of age the basic insurance applies. The practice works with the statutory NZa rates and provides a cost estimate in advance for more extensive treatments. You can read more on the fees & reimbursement page.
Who works at the practice?
The team consists of BIG-registered dentists, dental hygienists and dental assistants, trained in the Netherlands at leading institutions and with many years of experience in well-regarded practices. Get to know them on the team page.
I am anxious about visiting the dentist. Can I still come?
Of course. We take extra time and care for patients who find a visit daunting: explanation in advance, an agreed stop signal and treatment at your own pace. An introductory conversation without treatment is also possible. Read more under anxious patients.
Does the practice treat English-speaking patients?
Yes. Treatment and explanation in Dutch and English. Expats and international families are very welcome.
What should I do in case of a dental emergency?
After opening, registered patients with an emergency can usually be seen the same day. Until then, in case of acute complaints please contact your current dentist or an emergency dental service in the region. You will find practical tips for acute complaints on the emergency care page.
Is the dental practice in Wassenaar accepting new patients?
Yes. Registration is open: new patients and families can register now using the form. The practice opens after the summer holidays of 2026; after registering you will be called to schedule your first appointment.
Is there parking and is the practice easily accessible?
Yes. There is ample, free parking on site, right next to the entrance, with charging points for electric cars and a covered bicycle shelter. The practice is entirely on the ground floor and has a step-free entrance, making it easily accessible, including by wheelchair.
Can I register my family and children?
Yes, the whole family is welcome. Children can come from their very first tooth; regular dental care for children up to 18 years of age is covered by the basic insurance. When registering, please mention in the comment field that you would like to register several family members.
