Who is responsible?
Kliniek voor Tandheelkunde Wassenaar is the data controller for the details collected via this website. The practice is located at Van der Oudermeulenlaan 1, 2243 CR Wassenaar. The practice can be reached by e-mail at praktijk@kvtwassenaar.nl. The telephone number will be listed here as soon as it is available.
What details do we collect?
Via the forms on this website we only collect the details you enter yourself. On the registration form these are your name, e-mail address and telephone number, and optionally your area of interest, how many people you are registering, your preferred day and time, how you would like us to contact you, whether you are already a client of our dental hygienist, how you found us and a remark. On the contact form these are your name, e-mail address, telephone number (optional) and your message. In addition, this website uses cookies for statistics and advertising measurement, but only after you have accepted them via the cookie banner; see the Cookies section below.
What do we use your details for?
For the purpose for which you provide them: for a registration, to confirm it, plan your first appointment and keep you informed about the opening; for a message via the contact form, solely to answer your question. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by sending the form. Your details are not used for other marketing purposes and are not sold or shared with third parties, with the exception of our hosting provider, which technically operates the website and e-mail.
Cookies
On your first visit, a banner asks whether we may use cookies for statistics and advertising measurement. As long as you make no choice or decline, this website does not place tracking cookies; only your choice itself is stored in your browser, for twelve months. We manage this with Google Tag Manager. That tool loads on every page, including when you decline: Google then receives the IP address of your visit and the page you are viewing, but no cookies are placed and data that could be used for advertising is redacted. If you accept, Google’s measurement services are fully enabled: Google Analytics for how the website is used, and Google Ads to see whether our advertising works. Once we also advertise on Meta, the same approach will apply there. These parties process data about your visit under their own privacy terms; this may involve data being transferred to servers outside the European Union.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via cookie settings, also available at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your consent, measurement stops immediately and we delete Google’s measurement cookies from your browser. Declining has no effect on your use of the website.
How long do we keep your details?
Until your registration as a client has been completed, or until you let us know you no longer wish to receive updates. After that, your details are deleted. Once you are registered as a client, your details become part of your client record, to which the statutory (healthcare) retention periods apply.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your details, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Please contact us at praktijk@kvtwassenaar.nl or via the form; after the opening this can also be done by telephone. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Security
The website is served over a secure connection (HTTPS). Form details are delivered to the practice by secure e-mail and are not visible on the website.
